Singer/actor Kim Hyun-joong recently showed his love for women’s soccer through a rather large donation. The profits made from the Playful Kiss finale fan event all went to support girl’s high school soccer. Not only that but he teamed up with Adidas to donate another 23 million won’s worth of soccer gear. Kim’s reps stated that this was all his idea to help these female athletes overcome life’s hardships and be able to fulfill their sports dreams.
Also, Hyun-joong will be a performer at the opening ceremony for the Asian Games in Guangzhou. He will be singing the anthem along with three others on November 12th.

In your “What the hell, the reporter asked what?” piece of news of the day, a reporter from Chosun asked So Nyeo Shi Dae who they think has the “most shapely legs” of the group. The nine girls were recently dubbed as the “Pretty Legged Group” in Japan (useless polls, what whaaaat!) and in a great piece of hard-hitting journalist writing, the girls talked about their health practices and their thoughts on their bodies.
The short of it: Seohyun is mature and takes good care of herself; Sooyoung is popular with the boys; Jessica has great legs all around.
I wish people stopped honing in on SNSD for their bodies and start paying more attention to their music, even if it’s not the greatest. Then they can stop being objectified all the time.

Nooooo! Man, this just kills me. Ever-hilarious Jung Kyung-ho is going to be entering the military by the end of this month, on the 30th. The 27 year-old will be undergoing five weeks of basic training before getting assigned to a permanent base.
Jung shot to fame this year and became a household name through SBS’s “Smile, You.” He was previously in “Princess Jamyung,” a highly hyped project that ultimately fell through with poor ratings and had to be cut short. Prior to that, he starred alongside Lee Jun-ki in “Time Between Dog and Wolf” and So Ji-sub in “Sorry, I Love You.”
Jung is absolutely infectious as an actor and I’m sad to see that he’ll be gone for two years. In the meantime, I’ll just rewatch the bajillion episodes of “Smile, You”?

I love group pictures like this! Seulong tweeted the picture along with this caption, “This is a JYPE group picture from today’s ‘M! Countdown‘ stage. It would’ve been nice if the Wonder Girls were included.”
And what were the Wonder Girls doing? San E posted this on his me2day….yeah I don’t know what they’re doing either.

The cast for the upcoming Kdrama Mary Stayed Out All Night gathered at the Seoul Imperial Palace Hotel on November 3rd. Moon Geun-young, Jang Geun-suk, Kim Jae-wook, and Kim Hyo-jin all made appearances to promote their new drama which will begin airing next week in place of Sungkyunkwan Scandal. The drama is a romantic comedy whose story revolves around the difficulties Korean young adults face with love and marriage in today’s society. Check out some of the pics from the press conference below.
The cast gives me hope for Mary. I’m gonna need a good Kdrama to get me over the end of SKKS. The first episode of Mary Stayed Out All Night will debut at 9:55pm on November 8th on KBS2TV.
