Unemployed Canadian guy in Korea asks Korean woman to marry him at first sight, she refuses, he refuses to go away, eventually gets arrested

A man in his 20s who proposed to a Korean woman at first sight has been taken by the police.
The Seoul Seodaemun Police Station revealed on the 19th that Canadian Daniel Hendrick (26, unemployed) has been charged with non-compliance (not complying to leave the scene) after he asked a 24-year-old employee at a snack shop (Ms. Na) to marry him and continued to follow her around even after she refused.

Finally Ms. Na called the police. Mr. Hendrick, who has been in Korea for 3 years and speaks the language fluently, didn’t even run away or leave the shop even though he saw her calling the police.
A person from the police said that Mr. Hendrick stated in the report that he saw her for the first time today, really liked her and wanted to marry her.
