Yoon Eun-hye, like, let’s get some shoes
Aww, this is sweet. Following the ending of filming for popular and recently ended SBS drama “My Fair Lady”, actress Yoon Eun Hye presented everyone – yes, everyone – on the production staff with what? Shoes. 112 pairs of Puma sneakers, to be exact.
Apparently, she had surreptitiously found out about every staff member’s shoe size and sent in the order for 112 pairs of sneakers right before the series finished filming. When the orders came in, she personally handed the shoes to each staff member. The production staff was appropriately touched by Yoon Eun Hye’s gesture.
“It has been a very tough period for the production staff who has to work overnight most of the time and some of their shoes are already pretty worn out,” remarks one staff member. “Yoon Eun Hye thus prepared these (shoes) to thank them and hopes that they will be able to find work in other good productions after this.”
Admittedly, the news of Yoon Eun Hye buying so many shoes, of all things, left me somewhat puzzled. I mean, they don’t sell sneakers for bulk at Costco now, do they? But still, that was awfully thoughtful of her, to say the least. Good to know that there’s still a couple of nice people out there in the admittedly rather cutthroat world of K-pop.
